Ανοικτό άφησε η Gazprom το ενδεχόμενο να μειώσει από το 2013 τις τιμές φυσικού αερίου στα μακροπρόθεσμα συμβόλαια προς την ΕΕ. Αυτό άφησε να εννοηθεί ανώτατο στέλεχος του ρωσικού κολοσσού, το οποίο έκανε λόγο για πιθανή περικοπή κοντά στα επίπεδα τιμών του αερίου στη spot αγορά, όπως αναφέρει το πρακτορείο Reuters

Συστήθηκε στην Βρετανία με πρωτοβουλία της κυβέρνησης η «πράσινη» τράπεζα, η οποία θα αξιοποιήσει πόρους 3 δις. λιρών για την ανάπτυξη περιβαλλοντικών έργων και σχεδίων ΑΠΕ. Η λεγόμενη Green Investment Bank (GIB) εδράζεται στο Εδιμβούργο της Σκοτίας και ήδη αφιέρωσε τις πρώτες 8 εκατ. λίρες για την υλοποίηση έργου παραγωγής ενέργειας από απορρίμματα.
