It has just been announced by the conference organisers that the 1st Greek-Turkish Energy Forum which was to be held on May 8-9 in Athens, is to be postponed for reasons not specified.
Although a firm new date for the conference has not been officially announced it is understood that this will now take place in Athens between June 10-12, 2003.
The organisers will make a proper announcement once the dates of the new conference are known and the participation of the Greek minister of Divelopment Mr Akis Tsohatzopoulos and of the Turkish minister for Energy and Natural Resources, Mr Mehmet Hilmi Guler has been confirmed.
