Renewable energy sources operator Rokas signed a memorandum of understanding with Public Power Corp’s renewables subsidiary for a feasibility study for the operation of 44 wind farms in the islands of Chios, Lesvos, and Limnos of 1636 MW total capacity.
The feasibility study involves the undersea connection of these islands with the mainland. The building of a new production unit which will construct wind generators of 300 MW annual capacity, was also part of the study.
