Spain's Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) Monday said it has agreed to buy Italian gas distributor Pitta Costruzione SpA, which operates in the southeastern region of Puglia, for EUR30.25 million.
In a statement, the company said that Pitta has a license to distribute gas in 11 municipalities, through 14,700 supply points.
Following the acquisition, Gas Natural will have 383,500 supply points in Italy. It already supplies gas in 20 other municipalities in the Puglia region.
