Russian gas giant OAO Gazprom(GAZP.RS) signed an agreement to buy 25% plus one shares in Daltransgaz from oil major OAO Rosneft (ROSN.RS), Gazprom said Saturday.
Gazprom would not disclose the price for the stake, but said that as part of the agreement it will give Rosneft access to free capacities of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline.
Gazprom also said that the two companies will jointly negotiate with the consortium of the Sakhalin-1 project to buy 1.5 billion to 2. billion cubic meters of gas to supply it to the Primorsky Territory.
