Iran's exports of Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) from phases 1-5 of the South Pars natural gas field exceeded 18 million barrels during the first quarter of the Iranian year, the English-language satellite channel Press TV reported Saturday.
The Iranian year ends March 20.
NGL exports from South Pars phases 1-5 were one million barrels higher than for the same period a year earlier, Press TV cited a report from the Pars Oil and Gas Co. (POGC) as saying.
NGL exported from South Pars phases 1-5 were 67 million barrels last year and 75 million barrels two years ago, Press TV said.
The POGC is currently working on development projects in Iran's South Pars, North Pars, Golshan and Ferdows natural gas fields, and is also developing oil layers in the country's South Pars field, according to Press TV.
