Eni SpA (E) Chief Executive Paolo Scaroni Friday said the capital expenditure for Phase 1, plus other works, of the massive Kashagan project in Kazakhstan amounts to $38 billion.
That figure includes works such as building a rail terminal, CEO Scaroni said on a conference call to comment third-quarter results.
To compare a like-for-like basis with the previous $19 billion figure, then the new capex would be $25 billion, he added.
