MOSCOW (Dow Jones)--Russia's OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) Tuesday said pressure in West-bound gas pipelines was sufficient to facilitate onward transit to Europe after neighboring Ukraine said Moscow hadn't sent enough gas.
"We have received no explanation from the Ukrainian side as to why gas isn't flowing to Europe," Gazprom's Chief Executive Alexei Miller said.
Miller said Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin would meet his Slovakian and Bulgarian counterparts in Moscow Wednesday to discuss Russian gas shipments to Europe, which were halted last week amid a standoff with Kiev over prices and transit.
