KIEV (AFP)--Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Wednesday that she was ready to meet her Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and that negotiations on Europe's gas crisis needed to move to the "level of governments."
Tymoshenko said at a press conference that her office had requested a telephone conversation with Putin and that after the conversation "we will see how to organize our meeting."
"We are waiting for the Russian government's answer," she said. "The process of negotiations must move from the Gazprom-Naftogaz level to the level of governments."
