The Russia-Ukraine gas dispute has gone beyond being a bilateral issue and can be resolved only with participation of European countries, President Dmitry Medvedev said Friday.
"Unfortunately, this issue has gone beyond the bounds of bilateral relations," Medvedev said in televised remarks.
"We hope Ukraine will respond in kind and that our European partners will help find the needed solutions."
