Turkey sees the Nabucco pipeline project, which aims to bring natural gas from Central Asia to Europe via Turkey, as more important than other energy projects in the region, Turkish Energy Minister Guler Hilmi said Tuesday.
"This is a direct message from Turkey to you," Hilmi told a conference on the 3,300-kilometer Nabucco pipeline, adding that his country is ready to offer its existing gas pipeline system, which is 11,000 kilometers in total, until the Nabucco pipeline is built.
