The BP PLC (BP)-led consortium that operates Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block in the Caspian Sea produced 2.9 million tons of oil in January, up 9.8% from December, Azerbaijan's state statistics agency said late Monday.
Azerbaijan produced a total of 3.63 million tons in January, 7.7% more than in December, the agency said.
