Turkish fuel and oil products retailer Petrol Ofisi AS (PTOFS.IS), or POAS, said Tuesday its net profit fell 66% on the year, Ihlas news agency, or IHA, reported.
Its 2008 consolidated net profit was 105.5 million Turkish lira ($62.4 million) in 2008, compared with a net profit of TRY310.7 million in 2007, the Web site of Istanbul Stock Exchange showed.
Sales costs rose to TRY15.9 billion last year, up from TRY12.5 billion the year earlier.
Its marketing, sale and distribution costs rose to TRY314.9 million in 2008, from TRY288.4 million in 2007.
