Turkish oil refiner Turkiye Petrol Rafinerileri A.S. (TUPRS.IS), or Tupras, said Friday it will pay a net dividend of 1.9716 Turkish lira ($1.1031) for each TRY1 nominal share, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported.
Tupras said March 3 that its 2008 consolidated net profit fell 66.7% on year to TRY432.2 million from a net profit of TRY1.3 billion in 2007.
A consortium of Turkish conglomerate Koc Holding AS (KCHOL.IS) and Anglo-Dutch oil company Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA) won a privatization tender in September 2005 to acquire a 51% stake in Tupras for $4.14 billion.
At 1245 GMT, Tupras shares were trading at Istanbul Stock Exchange 2.52% higher from Thursday at TRY16.30 amid a 0.83% lower overall market.
