The statements are in contrast with statements by most OPEC ministers that they
don't expect any change in quotas at OPEC's next gathering.
In remarks published by
Iran
's oil
ministry agency Shana, Masoud Mirkazemi said "OPEC will not hesitate to
change its production in December." The statements were made Tuesday but
only published in English Wednesday.
He added that the decision was dependent on the world's oil stocks, non-OPEC
production level and oil demand resulting from weather conditions.
