Russia:Turkey, Russia To Hold Talks On Nuclear Plant Mar

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Secin said Friday Turkey and Russia will continue co-operation talks to build the first ever nuclear power plant March 9 in Moscow, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Secin said Friday Turkey and Russia will continue co-operation talks to build the first ever nuclear power plant March 9 in Moscow, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports.

In a meeting with Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz, Secin said Russia expects to receive the draft of nuclear plant co-operation deal from Turkey by the end of next week.

"We are very close to final decision," Secin said.

Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said Thursday that his government wants to clarify by June whether it will co-operate with Russia to build the first ever nuclear power plant in the country.
