Anglo-Russian oil producer TNK-BP Ltd. (TNBP.RS) plans to invest $400 million in exploration this year, a threefold increase from 2009, the company said Wednesday. TNK-BP, 50%-owned by U.K. oil major BP PLC (BP), will focus its effort on seismic exploration in fields in Yamal, Uvat, Orenburg , Timan Pechora and Astrakhan . The company also said it expects to increase drilling volumes by 40% from last year's level.
