The finalization of a deal between Bulgaria and Turkey to interconnect their natural gas networks is set to be among the chief topics of discussion during the visit of Bulgaria's PM Boyko Borisov to Turkey next week.
Tuesday Borisov, together with eight cabinet ministers is traveling to Bulgaria's southeastern neighbor on an important state visit, writes Turkish paper Hurriyet Sunday.
Bulgaria wants to finalize the deal with Turkey, which is part of its plans to diversify its natural gas sources away from Russia, from which it is overly dependent, writes the paper, Novinite.com reports.
