OMV Bulgaria OOD, a subsidiary of the Romanian OMV Petrom S.A. (SNP.RO), has been notified of an alleged breach of antitrust regulations by Bulgarian authorities, OMV Petrom said Monday.

MAIN FACTS:

-On March 16, 2012, the Bulgarian Commission for Protection of Competition provided OMV Bulgaria, a 99.9% subsidiary of OMV Petrom S.A., with 30 days to provide written arguments and evidence.

-The findings of the Bulgarian Commission for Protection of Competition, including possible financial sanctions, will be specified in the final decision which will be issued after the receipt of OMV Bulgaria and other involved companies' response to the statement of objections and after a hearing at the Bulgarian Commission for Protection of Competition.

-The alleged breach concerns a number of key players in the Bulgarian fuels market, Petrom said.

Austria 's oil and gas company OMV AG (OMV.VI) holds a 51.01% share in OMV Petrom.
