Jordan's minister of energy and mineral resources Alaa Batayneh said the country has been told by Egypt that the average supply of Egyptian natural gas to his county until September won't exceed 100 million cubic feet a day, Amman-based Ad Dustour daily reports Wednesday.

Wednesday.
The average supply of Egyptian gas didn't exceed 30 million cubic feet a day
since the beginning of the current year, Mr. Batayneh said according to the
paper.
The gas supply has been disrupted several times since 2011 due to attacks on
the pipeline in
Egypt
.
Mr. Batayneh said in related news that logistical constraints are currently
preventing the arrival in Jordan of an agreed-upon supply of about 10,000
barrels a day of Iraqi oil, the daily reports.
