US-based company Enphase Energy Inc (NASDAQ:ENPH) said today that its solar
microinverters are now available in Greece in addition to seven other countries
in the region.
The products are delivered through an official network of
authorised distributors.
The firm also announced that Olivier Jacques
will now act as managing director for the firm's activities in the Europe,
Middle East and Africa (EMEA) area. In a statement, Jacques said he planned to
extend operations geographically via existing and new distribution
partnerships.
Enphase quoted an NPD Solarbuzz report according to which
the Greek solar market was 414 MW in 2011 and grew to 961 MW in 2012 helped by
its huge solar resource.
