Bulgarian fuel retailer Petrol said on Friday its consolidated net
loss widened nearly 190% to 53.9 million levs ($34.4 million/27.6 million euro)
in January-September.
Consolidated sales revenues dropped by 16% to more
than 768 million levs in the first nine months of the year, Petrol said in a
financial report filed with the Sofia bourse.
The decrease in revenues
was due to the lower average selling prices of fuel and lower sales volume, the
company said in the report.
Petrol operated 336 gas stations and employed
1,954 at the end of September.
