Croatian state-owned oil pipeline operator Jadranski Naftovod, said on Thursday it has signed an agreement on oil transportation with Serbian
oil and gas company NIS.
Janaf said in a statement it will
transport for NIS 1,700,000 tonnes of oil in 2015.
Previously, the
Croatian company was contracted to transport for NIS 1,750,000 tonnes of oil in
2014.
Janaf has terminals on Krk as well as in Sisak, Virje, Slavonski
Brod and Zitnjak and operates 622 kilometres of pipelines. It has a total of
1.54 million cu m of storage capacity for oil and 202,000 cu m of capacity for
the storage of petroleum products.
NIS is one of the largest vertically
integrated oil and gas companies in Southeast Europe. Its main activities
include the exploration, production and processing of oil and gas, as well as
the production and retail of a wide range of petroleum products.
