Bulgarian electricity distributor CEZ
Electro Bulgaria, a unit of Czech power utility CEZ, said it turned to
a preliminary after-tax profit of 24.8 million levs ($14.4 million/12.4 million
euro) in 2014 from an after-tax loss of 16.4 million levs a year
earlier.
Total revenues went up by 1.6% to more than 1.4 billion levs
last year, CEZ Electro Bulgaria said in a preliminary financial report on
Friday.
The company turned to an operating profit of 27.2 million levs in
2014 from an operating loss of 18.5 million levs in 2013.
It's earnings
per share also turned to 4.95 levs last year from a negative 3.29 levs in the
previous year.
CEZ Electro Bulgaria is majority-owned by Czech power
utility company CEZ.
