Turkeys LPG Imports Up 7.63% in October 2019

Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports increased by 7.63% to 273 thousand tonnes in October compared to the same month of 2018, according to the latest data revealed by the country's energy watchdog on Friday.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that imports to Turkey came from Algeria, the U.S., Kazakhstan, Libya, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Russia and the U.K. Turkey's LPG production increased in October to approximately 90 thousand tonnes - a year-on-year increase of 32.15%.

Exports increased by nearly 50.64% to 5 thousand tonnes this October compared to October 2018. Total LPG sales rose by approximately 354 thousand tonnes in October -- a 3.88% increase, including 283 thousand tonnes of autogas, 63 thousand tonnes of bottled LPG, and 8 thousand tonnes of bulk LPG.
