The restart of German utility E.ON AG's (EOA.XE) Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power plant will be further delayed, according to information published on the company's Web site Friday.

The 1.3 gigawatt reactor is now planned to be restarted May 8 and reach full capacity May 9, the Web site said.

Previously, E.ON said on its Web site that the power plant will go back online May 7 and return to full capacity May 8.

This is the third time E.ON has delayed the restart of the Grafenrheinfeld pressurized-water reactor.

Originally the reactor was planned to be offline for maintenance from March 29 through April 23, then May 4.
