Naftoport, a Polish oil terminal on the Baltic Sea coast in Gdansk, will export more Russian oil at the end of January, the company's chief executive said Monday.

The port will load a 100,000-metric-ton tanker with Russian oil at the end of January, a shipment that hadn't been earlier expected, Dariusz Kobierecki told Dow Jones Newswires. Another vessel is likely to be loaded in February.

Naftoport is used by traders to export Russian crude oil westward via the Baltic Sea.

Increased exports via Naftoport could imply that Russia has diverted to Gdansk part of supplies earlier earmarked for Belarus.

On Wednesday, Russia threatened to cut off oil flows to Belarus in a pricing dispute. Russia's pipeline operator Transneft (TRNFP.RS) said that flows to Belarus' largest refinery could come to a halt Jan. 14.
