On Wednesday, October 11, 2006, IENE is organizing a business lunch at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel with Mr Claude Mandil as speaker and official invitee. Mr Mandil is executive director at the Paris-based International Energy Agency (IEA).
In his speech, Mr Mandil will initially evoke the international energy situation and its long-term perspectives before presenting the IEA's conclusions and proposals for Greece put forth in its country report. Earlier on the same day, Mr Mandil will have presented this report in a joint Press Conference held with Mr Dimitrios Sioufas, minister of Development. Following his speech Mr Mandil will take questions from the floor.
The event will begin at 13:00 with welcome drinks and the luncheon will commence at 13:30. Mr Mandil's speech is scheduled to begin at 14:30.
Participation in this event is subject to the payment of a fee, while the right to participate is reserved exclusively to IENE's members and their guests. The participation fee amounts to € 100 per person (VAT inclusive) for IENE members, € 130 for non-members and € 75 for young scientists-IENE members and students-IENE members.
