The European Investment Bank is willing to finance part of Public Power Corp’s energy projects while its total financing to Greece is seen at EUR1 billion next year.
EIB’s officials are in Athens for a two-day forum, ending Friday.
Officials said that the Bank may consider to participate in the Burgas-Alexandroupolis pipeline project, without giving any specific detail yet. The cost of the project is estimated at EUR400 million and the EIB is able to cover half of it.
