Russia's South Stream Gas Supplies To Begin In 2013 -Report

Gas supplies under the project South Stream will begin in 2013, Itar-Tass reported Friday. The decision was made during a working meeting of OAO Gazprom chief of the board of governors Alexei Miller and the chief of ENI SpA concern, Paolo Scaroni on Friday.

Gas supplies under the project South Stream will begin in 2013, Itar-Tass reported Friday.

The decision was made during a working meeting of OAO Gazprom chief of the board of governors Alexei Miller and the chief of ENI SpA concern, Paolo Scaroni on Friday.

The South Stream is a joint venture formed by Italy's Eni SpA and Russia's OAO Gazprom to commission a natural gas pipeline under the Black Sea, connecting Russian gas fields to consumers in the European Union.
