Turkish petrochemicals company Petkim Petrokimya Holding's (PETKM.IS) net profit rose 27% on the year to 73.9 million new Turkish lira ($61.7 million) in 2007 from TRY58 million in 2006, the official Web site of the Istanbul Stock Exchange or IMKB showed Thursday, Ihlas news agency reported.
Turkish petrochemicals company Petkim Petrokimya Holding's (PETKM.IS) net profit rose 27% on the year to 73.9 million new Turkish lira ($61.7 million) in 2007 from TRY58 million in 2006, the official Web site of the Istanbul Stock Exchange or IMKB showed Thursday, Ihlas news agency reported.

According to the company's non-consolidated results published on the IMKB Web site, net income from sales decreased 2% on the year to TRY2.179 billion in 2007 from TRY2.222 billion in 2006.

At 0755 GMT, Petkim shares were trading 0.74% higher at TRY6.85, amid a 1.53% higher overall market
