Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) Thursday said it has signed a natural gas supply contract with French utility Electricite de France SA (1024251.FR) of 4 billion cubic meters over four years.
Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) Thursday said it has signed a natural gas supply contract with French utility Electricite de France SA (1024251.FR) of 4 billion cubic meters over four years.
Barcelona-based Gas Natural, Spain's largest gas distributor by market value, said in a filing with regulators that it will supply to EdF 1 bcm a year. The contract forms part of Gas Natural effort's to sell more than 7 bcm across the European Union.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
"The contract sets April 2009 as the starting date of the gas deliveries to EdF, France being the main destination," Gas Natural added.
