Russian gas monopoly OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) Thursday said it had reached an agreement with neighboring Ukraine over natural gas supplies for 2008.
Under the deal, Gazprom will deliver Central Asian gas to the Ukrainian border at $179.5 per 1,000 cubic meters to December.
The dispute over supplies for January and February has also been settled, Gazprom said. Intermediary RosUkrEnergo, which is part-owned by Gazprom and partly by two Ukrainian businessmen, will pay $315 per 1,000 cubic meters for Russian gas delivered during that period.
