French engineering company Alstom (102247.FR) Wednesday said it has secured a contract for over EUR270 million with Suez's (SZE.FR) Electrabel unit for construction of a combined-cycle power plant in the south of France.
Under the terms of the contract, Alstom will supply all engineering, procurement and construction services to deliver a fully integrated plant.
The company has also been awarded a frame agreement in the form of a 17-year long-term parts and repair agreement, covering all parts and servicing necessary for scheduled maintenance of the gas turbine.
