Russian wholesale electricity generator OAO OGK-5 (OGKE.RS), majority-owned by Italy's Enel SpA (ENEL.MI), Tuesday said its 2007 net profit rose to 2 billion rubles ($84.2 million).
Net profit, calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards, in 2007 rose by RUB2.05 billion on the year, excluding the one-off effect of the recognition of the deferred tax asset in 2006 totaling RUB3.28 billion.
OGK-5 said its revenue in 2007 totaled RUB33.47 billion, up 27% from 2006.
