The October crude oil loading program for the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline has been reissued to market participants, traders of Mediterranean crude said Wednesday.
Around 60% of the 850,000 barrel a day crude flow through the BTC was cut following the shutdown of two platforms on the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field in the Caspian Sea last month after a gas leak.
Traders who had seen the new 31-day schedule said it starts Oct. 19 and outlines new loading dates, and a total volume to be exported of around 19.2 million barrels.
A small volume of crude oil from the Tengiz field in Kazakhstan will be added to the BTC from the second half of October, arriving in the Turkish port of Ceyhan in mid-November
A spokesman for the pipeline operator BP (BP) said the company doesn't comment on any loading programs.
