Ukrainian state oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy on Tuesday denied it has any payment arrears for the natural gas it imports from Russia.
Naftogaz said that it has paid in full for the gas delivered between January and October 2008, and is now paying for the November delivery.
Naftogaz said that it has an agreement with Russian natural gas exporter OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) to delay payment till the end of the month which follows the delivery.
Moscow and Kiev are in dispute over the pricing of and payments for natural gas, and Gazprom has said it has no legal obligation to continue gas supplies to Ukraine.
