E.On Foldgaz Storage, the Hungarian unit of German energy giant E.ON AG (EOAN.XE) is ready to offer natural gas storage facilities to Russia's OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) for the planned gas pipeline South Stream's Hungarian section, national daily Nepszabadsag says Monday without naming sources.
Hungarian oil and gas company MOL Nyrt. (MOL.BU) is also in talks with Gazprom on providing gas storage for the pipeline, the paper notes.
Gazprom may end up taking a stake in one of the storage facilities as part of the deal, the paper adds.
