Russia has opened an antitrust case against oil firms OAO Rosneft (ROSN.RS), OAO Lukoil (LKOH.RS), TNK-BP Ltd. and OAO Gazprom Neft (SIBN.RS) after gasoline prices at the pump rose amid a drop in world oil prices.
"Despite petrol prices falling globally, consumers continue to subsidize major Russian oil companies," the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Igor Artemiev told reporters Tuesday.
