Two groups have each offered about EUR1.3 billion for a 70% stake in Enel SpA's (ENEL.MI) gas distribution network, Il Sole-24 Ore reports Wednesday, without citing its sources.

One bidding group is led by Italian infrastructure fund F2i, and the other is led by Assicurazioni Generali SpA's (G.MI) Valiance fund.
