The Russian government plans to provide royalty tax breaks for some oil fields, according to an economic stimulus plan drafted by the government, Prime-Tass news agency reported Thursday.
Specifically, royalty tax breaks will be provided for fields located in areas north of the Arctic circle, as well as in the Azov and Caspian seas, in the Nenets Autonomous District and on the Yamal Peninsula.
