The European Commission Friday cleared France's energy giant GDF Suez (GSZ.FR) to acquire joint control of two Greek power stations with Greece's construction and energy company GEK Terna (GEK.AT).
The European Commission Friday cleared France's energy giant GDF Suez (GSZ.FR) to acquire joint control of two Greek power stations with Greece's construction and energy company GEK Terna (GEK.AT).

GDF's unit Electrabel International Holdings BV will take joint control of Heron Thermoelectric SA and Heron II Viotia Thermoelectric Station SA. It will share control with GEK Terna, which currently exclusively owns the plants.
