Poland will transfer carbon dioxide emission rights for 2008 and 2009 to local companies participating in the European Union's Emission Trading Scheme within days, Rzeczpospolita daily reports Tuesday.
The transfer of CO2 rights is now possible because the Polish government and the European Commission finally cleared Poland's National Allocation Plan for carbon emissions between 2008 and 2012.
