The price of natural gas will be reduced by 11.18 per cent as of April 1, the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC) said Monday. As of April 1 the price of natural gas will be 545.97 leva/1000 cubic m (VAT excluded) or 68.69 leva less than the price currently offered by Bulgargaz (614.66 leva/1000 cubic m, VAT excluded). The calculations of the price made by SEWRC experts also include a 3 per cent for the gas company, the regulator siad. Lower prices of heating and electricity cogenerated by heating utilities are a consequence of this development. According to this proposal, heating prices in the country will drop by an average 5 to 8 per cent.
