Iraq's crude oil exports rose slightly to 1.815 million barrels a day in March, up 0.6% from 1.804 million barrels a day in February, the head of the State Oil Marketing Organization told Dow Jones Newswires Thursday.
Iraq's revenues from crude oil sales in March rose between $2.419 billion and $2.588 billion, up 26% to 34% compared with $1.922 billion in February, Falah Alamri told Dow Jones Newswires by telephone from Baghdad.
He said a barrel of Iraqi crude oil was sold in March at a price range of $43 to $46, up from an average of $38 a barrel the previous month.
Iraq exported an average of 1.393 million barrels a day from its southern oil fields through the Basra oil terminal. The remaining 422,000 barrels a day were exported from northern Iraqi oil fields via the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan, he said.
