Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company, KazMunaiGaz, plans to have a strategic presence in the Energy Center project on the Caspian Sea that was set up by Kuwait Finance House, Kuwait-based Al Rai daily reports Wednesday.
KazMunaiGaz will invite international oil and gas companies to do the same, taking into account the fact that the Republic of Kazakhstan is seeking to double its oil production and triple natural gas production by 2015, the paper reports.
