EnBW, Borusan To Invest EUR2.5B In Renewables In Turkey

Turkish unlisted pipe and steel group Borusan Holdings AS (BRYAT.IS) and German energy firm Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG, or EnBW (EBK.XE), will jointly invest EUR2.5 billion in renewable energy projects in Turkey, the press statement distributed before the joint press meeting of the two companies showed Monday, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported.
Turkish unlisted pipe and steel group Borusan Holdings AS (BRYAT.IS) and German energy firm Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG, or EnBW (EBK.XE), will jointly invest EUR2.5 billion in renewable energy projects in Turkey, the press statement distributed before the joint press meeting of the two companies showed Monday, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported.

The press meeting is on the cooperation of Borusan Holdings and EnBW in Turkey.

"The target of this cooperation is reaching 2000 megawatts of electricity production capacity in a 8-10 years period which will cost around EUR2.5 billion, a long with opportunities that will emerge in energy privatizations," Borusan Holdings Chief Executive Agah Ugur said, according to the press statement.
