Spanish electricity company Endesa SA (ELE.MC) said Monday that it has signed a EUR2 billion, two-year loan and extended the maturity of a EUR1.28 billion loan to 2012 from 2010.
In a press release, Endesa said more than 20 manks had participated in the deals. The first transaction was coordinated by Banco Santander SA (STD), while the loan extension was coordinated by Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BBV).
Terms of the deals weren't diclosed.
Endesa is a unit of Italian power company Enel SPA
