Iberdrola Ingenieria, a unit of Spanish electricity company Iberdrola SA (IBE.MC), said Wednesday it has been awarded a contract worth about EUR330 million to build a 440-megawatt combined cycle plant in Lithuania.
Iberdrola said the plant will be located in the city of Elektranai, about 40 kilometers from the capital, Vilnius. It is expected to start operating in the second half of 2012.
