Russia said Friday it will raise the oil export duty to $152.8 a metric ton from $137.7 as of June 1, the Interfax news agency reported.

Export duty on crude peaked at $495.90/ton in August and September last year, but plummeting oil prices have forced the government to calculate the export duty on average crude prices for one month instead of two months.
